Install Pocillo GTK Theme, Default Theme Of Ubuntu Budgie

Pocillo GTK Theme

Pocillo is a default theme on Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 LTS. Pocillo is a GTK+3.22 based theme which featured Material Design elements. It has been developed primarily for the Budgie desktop environment. Pocillo icons are based upon icons from the Faba and Moka icon themes by Sam Hewitt.

In this tutorial, we are going to install pocillo gtk theme.

Meanwhile, if you want to use this theme in your Ubuntu 18.04 LTS bionic beaver then you need to have a Ubuntu budgie desktop installed in your Ubuntu.

Pocillo GTK Theme

Install Pocillo GTK Theme, Default Theme Of Ubuntu Budgie

You need to install the following packages at first:

sudo apt install inkscape optipng gtk2-engines-pixbuf gtk2-engines-murrine git libsass0 sassc make libglib2.0-dev-bin libxml2-utils

If you have previous version of this theme you need to get it remove from your system first. Use the following command to remove the previous versions:

sudo rm -rf /usr/share/themes/Pocillo*

Download and install Pocillo theme:

git clone https://github.com/ubuntubudgie/pocillo-gtk-theme
cd pocillo-gtk-theme
make
sudo make install
