Video editing has been a frustrating task in Linux. There are very few apps available for video editing in Linux. Among few, VidCutter is a new open source video editor that does video trimming and merging, and it’s very simple to use too.
Vidcutter Supports most of the common video formats that are available such as: AVI, MP4, MPEG 1/2, WMV, MP3, MOV, 3GP, FLV etc. This app does nothing beside editing and trimming.
