Install All Wallpapers from Old Ubuntu Releases With Single Command

Insight: Install all wallpapers from old ubuntu releases

Various version of Ubuntu comes with different default wallpaper. Interestingly, There’s no default wallpapers packages available for Ubuntu 8.04, Ubuntu 8.10, and Ubuntu 9.04. Well, we will install the wallpapers from Ubuntu 6.10, 7.04,7.10 and 9.10 to now.

Install All Wallpapers from Old Ubuntu Releases With Single Command

In this short tutorial, we will show you the command line to install all wallpapers for old Ubuntu releases. Open your terminal and use the command below to install default wallpapers from Ubuntu 6.10, Ubuntu 7.04, Ubuntu 7.10 and Ubuntu 9.10 to now.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-wallpapers-* edgy-wallpapers feisty-wallpapers gutsy-wallpapers

After executing the command, you can see the all old wallpapers to new one in the background setting page of System Settings.
