Netstat is a network command which displays various information including open sockets and routing tables.

IPTraf is a software – based console which provides network statistics  by collecting information from TCP connections. It shows the statistics and activity interfaces and drops TCP and UDP traffic. It monitor TCP, UDP account showing the network packets for port connections of applications.

5.Hping

Hping is a command-line oriented TCP/IP packet assembler/analyzer. It is a command line utility which is similar to Ping command. It supports TCP, UDP, ICMP and RAW-IP protocols, has a traceroute mode, the ability to send files between a covered channel, and many other features.
