50 hackers has been arrested by officials in Russia for stealing more than $25 million. They used to trick banks through the use of trojan called “Lurk”. According to the Hackenews, Lurk is a “fileless” Trojan that runs in RAM. Due to it’s presence on RAM, security software hardly detected them and hence failed to protect the system.
With the help of trojan, they used to stole login names and password details of victim’s online accounts. According to the news, they used to traget the accounts held at Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank in terms of assets held.
