A Wifi Chip Bug In iPhones And Android Phones Making Them Hackable

A wifi chip bug is creating trouble to smartphone users as it is making millions of iPhones and Android phones hackable. Google Project Zero team has discovered the bug in the broadcom wifi chips which has been used in various models of iPhones and Android Smartphones. The vulnerability is so brutal that it could allow a hacker in close proximity to gain full control of the target device.

Meanwhile, security fixes has been rolled by Apple. Apple has released the security fix as a part of the iOS 10.3.1 update. According to April’s Android Security Bulletin, the exploit has been fixed.
