There are various tools available to monitor the CPU temperature but here we will be using GUI tool Psensor. Meanwhile there are some prerequisites to install Psensor. You need to install and configure lm-sensors and hddtemp as well.

sudo apt-get install lm-sensors hddtemp
sudo sensors-detect

To make sure that it works, run the command below:

sensors

And now start the installation of Psensor :

sudo apt-get install psensor

and now you can run it from the application dashboard.
