Step 2:

Run the following commands to install DropBox official client app on Linux operating system.

For 32-bit Linux based operating systems:

cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86" | tar xzf -

For 64-bit Linux based operating systems:

cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86_64" | tar xzf -

Next, you need to run the Dropbox daemon from the newly created .dropbox-dist folder.
