Tutorial to Install Steam on Ubuntu. At first you need to add the Multiverse repository.  Run the following command:

sudo add-apt-repository multiverse

Now, after adding repository, Install the steam on Ubuntu by running the following command:

sudo apt install steam

You will have your steam installed in your Ubuntu operating system. You can start it from the command line by simply typing steam or you can access it from Activities -> Steam.

You need to have a steam account to login into the Steam installed in your Ubuntu.
