Method To Install Sublime Text On Ubuntu.

Before installing, obtain the security key for sublime’s repository.

wget -qO - https://download.sublimetext.com/sublimehq-pub.gpg | sudo apt-key add -

Now add the editor repository  to your software sources:

echo "deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list

This will add stable version of sublime to software source. Meanwhile if you want to try latest version of Sublime Text Editor, you need to type following command:

echo "deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/dev/" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list

Now install it:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install sublime-text
