NoMachine is a free, cross platform and easy to use remote desktop software.  You can access your folders, drives, and devices. You can also listen to live audio and video from your remote PC.


XRDP is an open-source remote desktop protocol server based on FreeRDP and rdesktop. It provides a GUI login interface to remote machines.  XRDP accepts connections from a variety of RDP clients: FreeRDP, NeutrinoRDP, rdesktop and Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android). Xpra is an open-source tool to access individual applications or full desktops. It is a multi-platform remote display server and client for forwarding applications and desktop screens.  It allows you to run programs, usually on a remote host, direct their display to your local machine, and then to disconnect from these programs and reconnect from the same or another machine, without losing any state. You can also forward full desktops, from X11 servers, MS Windows, or Mac OS X using this tool.
