You need to create a text file which need to be an empty text file and name it “Untitled Document”. You need to save it in the Templates Folder. You can easily create empty text file using any text editor.

You can simply create an empty file through command too. Run the following  command in your terminal to create an empty Untitled Document in Templates folder.

$ touch ~/Templates/"Untitled Document"

Now, you can see the Add New Document option in right click menu in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
