At first, you need to download the Slack in your CentOS.

Download Slack On CentOS

or you use the command line method to download Slack:

wget https://downloads.slack-edge.com/linux_releases/slack-3.4.0-0.1.fc21.x86_64.rpm

After downloading the file, now it’s time to install the Slack rpm package. To do so, run the following command in your terminal:

sudo yum localinstall ./slack-*.rpm

Now, Slack is being installed in your CentOS operating system. You can run it either from the command line by typing slack.
